  • Great but muffled

by Seaking on 2025-06-04National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

It was a good fun show but there were parts where the orchestra was too loud and we couldn't make out the lyrics to the songs.

Such a fun and entertaining show!! I highly recommend any Beetlejuice fan would love this show! Loved the humour and the original songs. I loved that they added some new information to the traditional storyline. Kept it feeling fresh. I loved that they included all of the iconic movie scenes. I felt that they kept the audience engaged with the humour, pace, and songs. The actors did an amazing job in their roles.

  • Beetlejuice was quirky and fabulous!

by Kathryn H. - Ottawa on 2025-06-01National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Beetlejuice was one of the most enjoyable productions I have ever seen. It was funny, visually interesting and quirky. My 14 year old daughter was also impressed, and we would love to see it again. The actor, Justin Collette, who portrayed Beetlejuice was spectacular, and his energy level was very impressive, as it is quite the demanding role. Lydia, Sophie Aknin, was just as amazing, and her voice was beautiful and strong. Also loved the effects... the snake, skeletons, etc.... a must see! (Ottawa show - May 29, 2025)
