  • Elks - Riders game was great experience

by RiderFaniacs on 2024-10-08Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

It had been a few years since I took my family to a CFL game. Commonwealth remains a good facility and the game day production was excellent. The thing I appreciated was the behaviors of the fans and welcoming atmosphere for families and kids. We had a mix of Rider (good looking bunch) and Elkimo's fans sitting near us and it was fun but also people respected the ages of the kids in ear shot. Overall fun night. I brought 4 teenagers and they had a blast and most were seeing their first game.

Purchasing tickets for the Eskimos/Riders game was easy, painless and simple. Great experience overall. An added bonus was Saskatchewan knocking Edmonton out of playoff contention!

  • Elks Game

by Jay on 2024-10-08Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

My son and I attended the Elks game on October 5, 2024. They say the gates open one hour before so we stood there until well after 4 and they still didn’t let people in! In Regina gates open 90 minutes prior to game time…this should be standard!

Visiting from out of town, impressed by LRT system, reasonable concession prices and great seats on 50 yd line. The opposing fans we met were fun and were there for a good time. Thank you Edmonton!

Stadium is really nice. Tickets reasonably priced. Lots of hype and entertainment on the sidelines. Great game even if the Elks lost!

  • Wonderful Birthday Game!

What an amazing experience! The pre game was awesome, lots of fun stuff for kids to do, face painting, games, inflatables, rides. The staff were amazing! We came from London Ontario for our son’s 11th Birthday so he could see his first CFL game. They put his name on the board and everything the game was great! The stadium was beautiful and the crowd was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
